How do I change the Group II construction in Multi-Peril? |
Answer / Solution |
 |
Group II Construction:
- The Group II construction is based on the selection from the Group I construction.
- If the Group I construction is either Frame or Joisted Masonry, the only option for the Group II is Ordinary.
- If the Group I construction is Non-Combustible, Masonry Non-Combustible, Modified Fire Resistive, or Fire Resistive, you will have 2 additional entry fields:
- Wall Support Construction - with dropdown list options for:
- Reinforced Masonry
- Other than Reinforced Masonry
- Roof Support Construction - with dropdown list options for:
- Light Steel
- Other than Light Steel
- NOTE: If you answer Yes to the Wood Roof entry, the Group II construction will always be Ordinary regardless of the Group I construction.
- Your selections for the two entry fields for Wall Support Construction and Roof Support Construction will determine the Group II construction.
- The determination of the Group II construction is based on the chart from the Citizen's manual page 5 of the Rating Section.
- There are also definitions of Group I and Group II construction classes starting on page 3 through 5.
