What do I select in a Windstorm Mitigation feature's entry field if a particular item does not apply? |
Answer / Solution |
 |
Winstorm Mitigation entries:
- Certain wind mitigation features apply in some cases and not in others (based on the year built, building type for the wind mit chart).
- If an item is not applicable, then just leave the default. The program will know, based on the items above, when they do and don't apply. For Multi-Peril the Terrain Exposure B or C will also determine which set of charts are used. Wind Only will always be Terrain Exposure C.
- You can refer to the manual pages for the Windstorm Mitigation feature charts. (a link to these pages are at the bottom of this page):
- Multi-Peril - pages - 13 through 16
- Wind Only - pages IX - 18 through 20
