Question / Issue
How do I save more than one quote for an insured?

Answer / Solution

To save multiple quotes for one insured:

You may want to do this if you want to give the insured more than one option for something like different deductibles.

  1. Create and rate a new quote.
  2. From the premuium quote breakdown screen, click on Save to store the first quote.
  3. On the same premium quote breakdown screen, click on the Save As New button.
  4. You have now duplicated this quote and will have 2 quotes stored that are exactly the same.
  5. To distinguish one quote from another, click on Previous to go back to the Applicant tab and add a description relating to the quote to the Name of Property entry field after the name.  Or you can add this to the contact name fields.  A description like "5% ded"
  6. Make your changes to the deductibles, co-insurance, with wind mitigation credits or without, etc.
  7. Rate this quote and click on the Save button to save this new quote.
  8. You can then open the other quote and add your description to the Applicant tab if you wish.
  9. You can save as many different quotes for one insured as you want to, just repeat the steps above.
