Question / Issue |
I have an insured that owns a building and leases the space to different type occupancies. No one type of occupany is 75% or more. How will I rate and what will I use for the occupancy? |
Answer / Solution |
If all of the occupancies are similar then you can choose one of the Mercantile descriptions. To look up one of the descriptions, type in Mercantile in the Nature of Operations entry field and go to page 2. Citizens will classify the risk with the highest rated or risk occupancy. For example if one of the occupancies is a restaurant, the Citizens will rate the building based on that risk.
