Question / Issue
Why do I only see boxes with an X and no buttons or graphics?

Answer / Solution

Selection buttons not appearing on screen may be due to:

  1. Using a browser other than Internet Explorer.
  2. An out-of-date system file: pngfilt.dll ( this file can be found in your C:\Windows\System32 and should be at least a date of 10/17/2006).  You can copy this from another machine or download it from MicroSoft's web site.
  3. A setting in your Internet Options may not be turned on:
    • In an open browser window, click on Tools/Internet Options
    • Go to the Advanced tab
    • Scroll down to the Multimedia section and make sure that Always use Clear Type for HTML* is checked.
