How do I create a new policy for an existing client by duplicating the information? |

How to create a new policy for an existing client:
- Open the customer's existing policy.
- Click on the Additional Policies button at the bottom left of the Policy Summary Screen.
- Select Create a New policy for this Client by Duplicating Information link at the bottom of the screen.
- You will be prompted to assign a new "File Number". Select the option that is appropriate for your situation.
- You will be prompted to choose the policy type. Select the option that is appropriate for your situation.
- When the Client Information screen comes up you will see the information from the existing policy such as the insured name, address, phone, etc.*
*NOTE: Information duplicated during this process only includes data fields that are shared across all policy types. This includes name, addresses, and phone numbers. Policy specific information is not duplicated such as vehicles, coverages, drivers, etc. |
