Agency Location Configuration Screen

The agency location configuration screen in InsurancePro is the screen used to edit the agency's locations of business.  On this screen you will be able to record the name, address, phone numbers, and logo for each location.  You can create new locations and you can modify and delete current locations.  Locations must have no policies associated with it before it can be deleted.

How are Locations used in InsurancePro?

Each policy must be associated with a location.  Location information is used to prefill forms and letters as well.  Locations can play an important role with permissions should you be interested in limiting login access to only the location that the login is associated with.  Locations are typically identified in the rest of the application with the street address.

How do I get to this screen?

1. Start InsurancePro and login as an administrator.
2. Click on the Agency Settings menu title and then Agency Information.

To Create a New Location:

1. Navigate to the Agency Location Configuration Screen
2. Click the "Add a New Location" button
3. Fill in as much information as possible.  Ensure that you have the street address entered as it is used to identify each location on other screens throughout InsurancePro.
4. Click the "Save Changes" button

To Edit a Current Location:

1. Navigate to the Agency Location Configuration Screen
2. Select a location in the list on the left side of the screen by clicking on it
3. Click the "Edit Agency Info" button
4. Make any changes to the location including address, name, phone, or logo changes at this time
5. Click "Save Changes" to preserve your changes, otherwise, click "Cancel Changes" to undo any changes you made.

To Delete a Location:

1. Navigate to the Agency Location Configuration Screen
2. Select a location in the list on the left side of the screen by clicking on it
3. Click the "Delete this Location" button
4. Answer any prompts that are displayed.  InsurancePro will prevent the deletion of any location that has policies associated with it.
