Why does it take so long to load a scanned image? |
Answer / Solution |
|
- The size of your image is making it large and therefore takes longer to load.
- We recommend that you set your scanner's color settings to Black and White.
- This will reduce the DPI (dots per inch). The smaller the DPI the smaller the file size will be.
- Our recommendation is that the maximum DPI setting should be set to 300 DPI on your scanner.
- Scanning in color or with higher DPI can increase the size of yhour image file up to 20 times.
- Refer to your individual scanner user manual to determine how to set the DPI and color settings.
