Adding Companies to the Comparative Rater:

1. If you are on a network be sure that all other users have exited the program including NetSpawn users.
   • NOTE: NetSpawn users do not have access to the Company Setup.  You must go into the main copy of the program to add a company.
2. Close all open quotes.
3. From the Edit menu at the top left of the screen, select Companies or press your <F9> function key on your keyboard.
4. The Company Setup screen displays all companies that you currently have installed to the Comparative Rater.
   • NOTE:  Companies that display on this screen that do not have a checkmark next to them are installed but will not appear as a rated company on the Comparison screen.
5. Click on the Add button at the bottom of the screen to connect to ITC's server (you will see a file transfer box).
6. The Install Companies box will come up and display companies that you can download and install.  Click on the box next to the company name for each company you wish to install. 
7. Once you have selected all of the companies you want to install, click on OK.
8. The company or companies will then install and you will be returned to the Company Setup screen.
9. Once the company has been installed, you may want to go into the company properties and enter your producer code:
   • Simply highlight the company and click on the Properties button at the bottom of the screen. 
   • Enter your producer code on the General tab in the Producer Code entry field. 
   • If your company requires a User ID and Password you can enter those as well at the bottom of the screen (this may be required for real-time rating or bridging). This information will be provided by your insurance company.
   • Click on OK to save and close the screen and return to the Company Setup screen.
10. Click on Done to save your changes and exit the screen.
