How do I setup and install the Cornerstone bridge?

Answer / Solution

You will need to go to the Cornerstone website to download the bridge file.
Click here to access the PTS website for Cornerstone. Pop-up Blockers may need to be turned off.
On the PTS website, click on the Click here if you need to download the latest comparative rater bridge link.
On the XImport Installation Procedure screen, click on the Download XImport Utility link.
Click on Run on the File Download - Security Warning box.
Click on Run on the Internet Explorer - Security Warning box.
Click on the Unzip button at the top right of the Winzip Self-Extractor - ximport_install[1].exe box. (We recommend that you leave the default path to unzip the temporary files: c:\temp).
When the message that the files have unzipped successfully is displayed, click on OK.
The XImport Utility will begin. On the Welcome screen, click on Next.
Click on Yes on the Software License Agreement screen.
Click on Browse on the Choose Destination Location screen. Check the path. It MUST be C:\Program Files\Ximport. If you see the correct path simply click OK.

If you have a 64 bit operating system you will need to change the installation path. Simply place your cursor at the end of parentheses and backspace over (x86) so that the path displayed is now: C:\Program Files\Ximport. Click OK once you have corrected the path.

The following screen shots show the steps on how to change the path when the computer is a 64 bit operating system:
Click on Next on the Select Program Folder screen.
On the Setup Complete screen, click on Finish.
You will now be able to bridge to Cornerstone from the ITC Comparative Rater.
