| How do I set up and install the Deerbrook and/or Encompass bridge? |

- You will need to go to the Interlink website to download the bridge file.
- Click here to access Encompass or Deerbrook's website.
- To begin the download process for either Encompass or Deerbrook, click on the Downloads & Links link on the left side of the screen.
- Scroll down the next screen to the Bridging section and click on Run Bridge Setup.
- A File Download - Security Warning screen will appear. Click on the Run button (or Save if you want to download the setup file to your hard drive and then run it later. You will need to remember where you downloaded it to).
- Click on Run on the Internet Explorer - Security Warning box.
- Click Next on the Welcome screen.
- Click Next on the Warning message screen.
- On the Select Destination Directory screen you will be asked to select where to install the bridge file. The default path is C:\. You will want to install this file into the main folder path of your Comparative Rater (i.e. C:\ITC\TXCMP32). Click the Browse button to find this location. Click on the OK button once you find the location. Then click the Next button.
- Click the Next button on the Ready to Install! screen.
- The bridge file will then download. Once complete, a Bridge Setup Type box will appear for you to make a selection for the company you want to install the bridge for. We recommend that you choose the first selection: Deerbrook/Encompass (Both) so that you will already have the file for the other should you begin writing business through that company as well.
- Click on the Finish button on the Installation Completed! screen.
- You may now close the Interlink website and bridge from your ITC Comparative Rater. The default bridge path shown in the Comparative Rater under Edit/Producer Codes will be displayed as: idbkupld.bat (assuming that this file was downloaded to the same location as your program files for your comparative rater.
