Question / Issue
How do I fix this error: 5016 AE Invalid Index Order Name, when opening a quote in the Comparative Rater?

Answer / Solution

5016 AE Invalid Index Order Name error message:

  1. Go to the Tools menu, select Advanced, then select Reindex Databases:
    • You will be asked to have all users exit the Comparative Rater, click OK to continue.
    • The program will run through a Database Initialization Process.
    • You will be returned to a blank screen when it has completed.
  2. If you still take this error either during the Database Initialization Process or when attempting to open a quote, you will need to run the Certify Quote File utility:
    • Go to the Tools menu, select Quote Management, then Certify Quote File or click the file cabinet icon on the toolbar at the top of the screen and select Certify Quote File.
    • You will be asked to have all users exit the Comparative Rater, click OK to continue.
    • The program will scan through several tables of your quote database.
    • If the program finds any corrupt quotes, it will tell you that it has and will delete those it could not repair.
    • You will be asked if you want to restore from a backup.
    • You will need to make this decision based on the last date of your backup.
