Overview

ITC has setup 1-way integration between Velocify and ITC. ITC pulls information from Velocify into both AgencyBuzz and TurboRater. In the future ITC may setup 2-way integration with TurboRater and Velocify, though for now it remains 1-way.

Every 5 minutes ITC polls Velocify for any new or modified leads (note: the lead must be saved in Velocify for this mechanism to find the lead). If a new lead is found, the lead’s information is automatically pulled into AgencyBuzz and optionally TurboRater. For modifications, the lead is updated only in AgencyBuzz. At this time updates to existing leads will not be reflected in the TurboRater product.

Account Setup

The first step in setting up the Velocify integration with your account requires you to contact ITC. We will authorize your integration product promptly.

Once ITC personnel have authorized the Velocify integration feature on your account you will need to log in to AgencyBuzz to complete the setup process.

Once logged in, please click the “Account Settings” button. Clicking this button will pop-up the Administration page.

On the Administration page, click on the “Integration” button.

On this screen please enter your Velocify user name and password. AgencyBuzz and optionally TurboRater will use this information to authenticate with Velocify to retrieve information. Once you have entered this information, please click the Save button.

You’re finished! The first pull of information from Velocify to AgencyBuzz and optionally TurboRater should occur on your account within the next 5 minutes (Note: if you have an especially large number of leads within Velocify, the process may take longer than 5 minutes to complete).

Fields Required for Import

For each line of business, a minimum amount of information is required for a policy to be imported.  If a Velocify lead has these fields entered, then a policy is imported into AgencyBuzz and/or TurboRater.

For Auto and Home-owner quotes, an address (or at the very least a state) must be entered, or TurboRater will not be able to load the quote.

Personal Auto

If the lead has any of the following driver fields entered, then the import will assume there is an auto policy, and import what information it can.  If other drivers have these fields, then each driver with at least one of these fields will be imported.

Driver First Name

Driver Birth Date

Driver Gender

Driver Marital Status

For a car to be added to the policy, it must contain at least a VIN, a make or a model.  The make and model are not imported; however these fields will be automatically determined from a VIN if present.

Home-owner

If any of the following fields are entered, a home-owner policy will be imported.

Home Purchase Price (from the Insurance Information tab)

Purchase Date (from the Insurance Information tab)

Property Coverage (from the Insurance Information tab, Coverage Requested section)

Property Deductible (from the Insurance Information tab, Coverage Requested section)

Health

If information is entered for any field on the Health Insurance Information tab, or the Primary Health Applicant tab, a Health policy will be imported into AgencyBuzz.

Life

If any information is entered on the Life Applicant tab or the Life Insurance Information tab, a Life policy will be imported into AgencyBuzz.

Business

If any information is entered for any field on the Business Details tab or the Business Coverages Requested tab, a Business policy will be imported into AgencyBuzz, as “Business and Commercial”.

Commercial Property

If any information is entered for any field on the Commercial Property tab, a policy will be imported into AgencyBuzz as “Commercial Property”.  If Commercial Property does not exist as a line of business in AgencyBuzz, it will be added to the existing lines.

Commercial Auto

If any information is entered for any field on the Commercial Auto tab, a policy will be imported into AgencyBuzz as “Commercial Auto”.  If Commercial Auto does not exist as a line of business in AgencyBuzz, it will be added to the existing lines.

General Notes on the Velocify to AgencyBuzz Integration

Each LOB in Velocify collects a very different set of data. This means that while we may collect any given field for one LOB, that field may not be available in other LOB's.

Velocify has an "opt-out" entry in their interface. However we cannot pull this information into ITC products as Velocify does not send over an email address for the lead when they are opted out.
