How do I scan a document or image into InsurancePro? |

How to scan images/documents:
NOTE: You must have a TWAIN compliant scanner installed in your system.
- 1) From the Client Policy Summary Screen, click on Images/Scan Document.
- 2) Click on Scan a Document.
- 3) In the Attach New Image box that will come up, type in the description for the image.
- 4) When the Scan New box comes up, you must select File Type: TIFF.
- 5) Your scanner description should appear in the Scanner: field, if not select it from the dropdown list.
- 6) Click the Setup box and then on the Scan button, this will open the scanning window.
- 7) Verify that the Output type: is set to Black & White (1 bit), if not you must find and edit the Output type option in your scanner software. This option will vary with each scanner.
- 8) Select Accept or Scan.
- 9) Once the scanning has completed, click on the Close button.
- 10) Your scanned document will now appear in the Description list of the Policy Summary Screen for your insured.
TIPS:
- The scanned document can be viewed from the Open in default viewer option.
- The scanned document can be sent as an email attachment by selecing the document and clicking on the Email button.
