Question / Issue
How to switch from a demo database to a live database.

Answer / Solution
  1. Pull up the Online Storage Setup screen by going to your start menu, then InsurancePro Online Storage, then Online Storage Setup.
  2. To obtain your Remote Database and FTP Site Information, contact our support department at 800-383-3482 option 4.
  3. Test Connection. Once you enter that information, click on “Test” to verify the connection is working.  Initially when prompted, select “Yes” to continue the test process.
  4. Connected Successfully. You should receive a message “Connected Successfully” in the InsurancePro Remote Connection Setup screen.  If you are unable to successfully connect, contact our Support Department at (800) 383-3482 option 4.
  5. Continue Testing. If you receive a prompt to continue testing after you have connected successfully, select “No”.
  6. Close the InsurancePro Remote Connection Setup Window.  Select “Close”.
  7. Click on Update. To apply the settings, click on “Update” on the InsurancePro Remote Connection Setup window.
  8. Click OK to the “Insurance Pro Remote Settings Completed successfully.” Prompt.
  9. Relink database.  Then click on your “Start” button, then “Run”.  In the Open box, type in “C:\InsurancePro Remote\ReLink.exe”. Then click on “Relink” in the Relink Database window.  Click on “OK” to the prompt “Relink process completed successfully”. Then “Exit”.
