Question / Issue
How do I manually enter follow-up notes or reminders for more than one customer at a time that have existing follow-ups?

Answer / Solution

To access the follow-up system:

  1. From the Agency Tools menu, select Followups.
  2. On this screen you have three types of follow-ups:
    • Quotes
    • Monthly Payments
    • Renewals
  3. Select a date range.
  4. Choose an agent name or select the dropdown option All Agents.
  5. Click on one of the buttons at the top: Quotes, Monthly Payments, Renewals to list all customers in the specified date range.
    • Quotes:
      • InsurancePro automatically makes an entry for a follow-up for the next day whenever a user enters a new quote in the program.
      • When you follow-up with a client on this list, double click on Follow-up in the row for the client.
      • The program will ask you to choose a response to describe the follow-up.
        • Depending on your selection, the entry will either be completed or marked again for follow-up on the date you specify.
    • Monthly Payments:
      • InsurancePro automatically makes entries for a follow-up for each monthly payment 10 days before it is due.
      • When you follow-up with a client on this list, double click on Follow-up in the row for the client.
      • The program will ask you to choose a response to describe the follow-up.
        • Depending on your selection, the entry will either be completed or marked again for follow-up on the date you specify.
    • Renewals:
      • InsurancePro automatically makes entries for a follow-up for each renewal 10 days before it is due.
      • When you follow-up with a client on this list, double click on Follow-up in the row for the client.
      • The program will ask you to choose a response to describe the follow-up.
        • Depending on your selection, the entry will either be completed or marked again for follow-up on the date you specify.

NOTE:  Any follow-up details and comments entered through this screen can be viewed under the customer's policy file screen in Notes/Reminders.
